Prisaa regional games set in Dipolog City

EVERYTHING is in place for the holding of the three-day Private Schools Athletic Association (Prisaa) regional games in Dipolog City.

Councilor Elbert Atilano Sr., Prisaa executive director, said more or less 700 athletes and coaches will see action in the Prisaa regional games, which is scheduled from February 8 to 11.

Atilano said Zamboanga City is sending a 218-man delegation.

The other competing cities will send the following delegations: Pagadian City, 200; Isabela City, 100; and Dipolog City, 159.

The athletic events will include the following: baseball, basketball, beach volleyball, football, sepak takraw, volleyball, athletics, badminton, chess, dance sport, swimming, table tennis, and taekwondo.

The Prisaa regional meet is in preparation for the national Prisaa games, which is scheduled to be held on April 19 to 27 in Bohol. (Bong Garcia/SunStar Philippines)
