CLARK FREEPORT -- Clark Development Corporation (CDC) President and Chief Executive Officer Noel Manankil said the state-run corporation supports the ideals of the Magalang business leaders in making the town more progressive.
Manankil issued the statement, as he presented the ongoing developments inside Clark Freeport during the fourth induction of officers and member of the Magalang Business Council Inc. (MBCI) at the Pagcor, Balibago in Angeles City recently.
Manankil said CDC is supportive of the business group who congregated to make the business climate of the town conducive to investors.
Manankil was the guest speaker during the fourth induction ceremonies of the business group in Magalang.
The MBCI was organized in 2014 to advocate for a well-rounded business climate within the jurisdiction of Magalang town. Its ideals are similar with the vision of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and industry (PCCI) and Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (Pamcham).
Manankil expressed hopes that the development in Clark will spill over to nearby towns including Magalang, Manankil said.
Roger Santos, president of the RS Construction Development based in Magalang town, was inducted president of the more than 60 members of the MBCI.
Other MBCI officers include Samuel Chan, chairman; Ignacio Morales, vice president; Lenadro Suing, Secretary, Primo Lacson, treasurer; Allan Magat, auditor; and Felicito Bautista, public relations officer.
The business club’s directors are Irineo Alvaro Jr., Ruel Bathan, Benedicto Calaguas, Fernando Chan, Avelino David, Peter Dizon, Trinidad Gonzales, Roy Kempis, Richard Luciano, and Ruben Miranda.
Manankil expressed gratitude to the officers and members of MBCI and to Mayor Malou Lacson for giving him a chance to present the master plan for the Freeport.
