1st PPP Knowledge Corner to be launched in Davao

THE National Economic and Development Authority (Neda)-Davao, in cooperation with the Public-Private Partnership Center (PPPC) of the Philippines is set to launch the PPP Knowledge Corner (KC) at the Neda Office in Bangkal, Davao City on March 20,2018.

The PPP KC in Davao City shall be the first to be established nationwide after the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Neda, represented by Secretary Ernesto M. Pernia and the PPPC of the Philippines, represented by its Executive Director Ferdinand A. Pecson, on January 28, 2018 for the establishment of PPP KCs in all Neda Regional Offices.

The PPP Knowledge Corner shall serve as an information hub on PPPs where local government units (LGUs), implementing agencies (IAs), and other concerned stakeholders can get accurate and updated information and knowledge on PPPs, including access to all PPP Center’s services to help them develop and implement bankable PPP projects.

Participants from LGUs, national government agencies, government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs), state universities and colleges (SUCs), and other stakeholders are expected to join the launching event in the morning, which shall be followed by a PPP orientation in the afternoon. (PR)
