The Kapuso Network has been strengthening its presence in the regions, through its regional television, particularly Davao City, participating in festivals, like Kadayawan.

In fact, June was a busy month for Kapuso stars as they went around the country and treated their fans in various festivals and mall shows.

Lead actors Janine Gutierrez and Mikael Daez were joined by co-stars Rodjun Cruz and Lauren Young in a back-to-back Kapuso Mall Shows in Gaisano Capital South and Gaisano Capital Island Mall Mactan in Cebu last June 3.

On the same day, the all-original Pinoy comedy game show Celebrity Bluff brought fun to the Kapusong Pangasinense in Magic Mall Tayug. Spreading good vibes and kilig during the Kapuso Mall Show were comedian Boobay and Kapuso boy band One Up.

Meanwhile, the cast of the hit GMA telefantasya Mulawin vs. Ravena (MvR) celebrated the Silay Charter Day with their Negrense fans in Bacolod last Independence Day, June 12.

The hottest young Kapuso actors Bea Binene, Derrick Monasterio, Kiko Estrada, Bianca Umali, and Miguel Tanfelix bannered the Kapuso Fiesta held at the Public Plaza in Silay City. The event was hosted by Starstruck 6’s Ultimate Male Survivor Migo Adecer, who currently plays the role of Yuan in My love from the Star (MLFTS).

Migo then travelled to Iloilo that week and joined the Philippines’ Matteo Do, Gil Cuerva, to promote MLFTS. Ilonggos who flocked to Festive Walk, Iloilo Business Park last June 17 were not able to resist the charm of Gil, the newest Kapuso Heartthrob to land on Philippine television.

Adding more kilig to the night was the sizzling tandem of Sanya Lopez and Rocco Nacino. Hot on the heels of the success of their last project, Encantadia, the Kapuso love team showed their fans a glimpse of what to expect from their newest drama series Haplos which started airing on Monday, July 10.

The cast of MvR headed north last June 20 to celebrate the Dagupan City Charter Anniversary in Pangasinan. MvR stars Valerie Concepcion, JC Tiuseco, David Licauco, and TJ Trinidad were on board the Kapuso Float together with Sanya and Rocco.

Another set of MvR stars flew to Tacloban City, Leyte last June 22. The Kapuso artists even participated in a tree-planting activity during their short stay.

"We are happy that our Kapuso viewers can see their favorite celebrities up close through our various regional events. The warm reception we get from the audience in every mall show and festival we participate in is a testament of how well-received our shows and Kapuso artists are by viewers all over the country," said Oliver Amoroso, officer-in-charge of GMA’s Regional TV Department. "And they can only expect more exciting activities in the future."
