POLICE caught two suspected pushers, who allegedly have connections with a big-time drug personality, in Sitio Sampaguita, Barangay Lamac, Consolacion, Cebu at 3 p.m. Monday, July 17.

Consolacion police chief Romeo Caacoy Jr. said suspects Dennis Carael Maglasang and Ever Rose Ducante Denolan yielded six grams of crystal meth (shabu) worth P70,80.

Senior Inspector Caacoy said the suspects are underlings of alleged drug lord Jesus "Jesse" Casado, who is in hiding for masterminding several murder incidents in the town.

Before the arrest, the police visited the houses of the suspects in Lamac village, as part of Oplan Tokhang. Denolan and Maglasang ran after they saw the police.

The police officers chased and caught the suspects, who will be charged for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
