THE Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Visayas will have a new director starting Monday, July 17.
Ordered by Philippine National Police Chief Ronald dela Rosa, PRO-Central Visayas Director Noli Taliño will be replaced by Chief Superintendent Jose Mario Espino from the Civil Security Group-Supervisory Office for Security and Investigative Agencies in Camp Crame headquarters.
The order was effective on Friday, July 14, but the turnover of command will be on Monday, July 17, in PRO-Central Visayas headquarters, and will be headed by Taliño.
Taliño will be moved to a higher position in Camp Crame as part of the directorial staff for Human Resource and Doctrine Development.
Taliño, who supervised the Central Visayas police, assumed as director last July 2016. (JOB/SunStar Cebu)
