KIDS get ready.

The second Chatbals baseball and Softball Free clinic will officially open tomorrow at Balingasag Central School Dug-out.

The free clinic is open to ages five to 18 years old and participants will experience a month-long training with known local coaches.

The clinic will be held every week days from 8 am to 4 pm starting Monday to next month.

And there is more to it than training.

Just like their first free clinic last year, every participant will have free baseball and softball jerseys and socks fresh from the United States. There will also be free snacks.

The jerseys are donated by the San Francisco Junior Giants and Pleasant Hill Baseball/Softball Association.

This is open not only to the residents of Balingasag but to all outsiders as well.

The month-long clinic is being supported internationally by Charita Pabelonio-Basan, founder of Chatbals.

“We got support from the States, Australia, Hawaii, Saudi and Norway,” said Basan, a former teacher in Balingasag and now stays in the US as a licensed nurse.

Balingasag Mayor Mayet Roa-Abogado and the public schools and teachers are supporting the clinic.
