Forever 21 eyes upbeat Cagayan de Oro market

THE fast fashion retailer Forever 21 is eyeing an upbeat market in Cagayan de Oro as it opened its second shop in Mindanao.

“We have received a warm welcome here,” said Merell Beltran, marketing manager of Forever 21. She said that the shop does not only cater teens but also cater to the fashion style needs of young professionals over 21 years old, young moms, and even men.

Beltrain said the fashion brand features crop tops, dresses and contemporary styles and accessories as well as men’s apparel for the summer trend.

Forever 21 is a joint venture with SM Retail where it opened shop at the newest commercial mall here, the SM Downtown Premier on May 12.
Beltran said the company is expecting growth in the near term with expansion plans in the next years.

“It’s still in the works but we will be expanding soon,” said Beltran. (Geefe Alba)
