AA Electrical-Orange zaps Alegria Farm for 3rd win

AA ELECTRICAL-ORANGE sizzled with 55 points in the second half to spoil Boknoy Locsin’s eight triples and 24 points with a 98-77 demolition on Wednesday in the ongoing D’ League basketball tournament at the STI West Negros University gym in Bacolod City.

The win kept AA Electrical undefeated in three games.

Renier Palomares sparked AA Electrical together with Francis Ramos, George de los Reyes, and Enok Villasor for a 22-20 first quarter lead.

Team top-scorer Nicole Medina pushed AA Electrical to 43-34 edge at the break hitting 14 of his 15 points.

Klint Quires, Joshua Abaring, and Mic Jara combined for 23 points of Orange’s 33-point output in the third for a 76-49 advantage going to the payoff period.

Palomares scored 13 points to backstop Medina for AA Electrical-Orange as Jara added 12 points while Ramos and Quires with 9 points, and Shaun Ferrer and Abaring with eight points each.

Helping Locsin on Alegria Farms’ efforts are Sales with 11 points, and Lacson with nine points.

Bapro, meanwhile, improved their record to 2-2 with a 99-80 win over luckless Toby’s-Bacolod Basketball Club which suffered its third loss in the tournament. (HGD)
