REV- X Pantera continued its unbeaten streak with a victory against Sprint 4t Enduro 92-81 in the 35 and below last Friday in the Fil-Sino Inter-color Petron Cup at Bacolod Tay Tung High School’s Po Hang Gym.
Rev-X Pantera pulled away from a close first quarter deficit 22-20 and outscored Sprint 4t Enduro in the second and third quarter to establish a 74-55 lead.
Nico Yap scored 15 points during the breakaway with teammates Brian Coo and Carlo Chu adding 11 points apiece and Shinley Uy scored eight points while Brix Arrobang and Roderick de los Santos can only manage six points apiece for Sprint 4t Enduro.
Sukhraj Sekhon bullied his way in the shaded area for 11 points in the payoff quarter as they outscored Rev-X Pantera but time was not on their side as Rev-X Pantera registered its fifth straight win.
Coo had a game-high 24 points, backstopped by Chu 13 points, Uy nailed 12 points, Ramon Khey had eight points, and Janjan Lopue with six points.
De los Santos paced Sprint 4T Enduro with 15 points, Militante scored 10 points, Robbie Jalandoon nine points, Joshua Vidal seven points while Kako Lacson, Adrian Ong and Ramon Sy had 5 points apiece.
Meanwhile, Ultron Touring stopped the two-game win streak of HTP DOT 4, 79-74 in the 36 and above category.
Ultron Touring took a 44-35 at the half behind Harry Siendo 11 points, and Glin Ortaliz 10 points against Henel Jison and Andre Tan’s seven points apiece for HTP Dot 4.
HTP Dot 4 rallied to take the lead in the third quarter 59-56 as Bobil Alagaban dropped seven points, and Ronald Despi with five points.
Despi continued to shine for HTP Dot 4 in the payoff quarter with eight points and Alagaban added five points, but it was not enough to keep up with the Ultron touring offense led by Doctor Emil Guanzon, with three triples for 10 points, and Siendo with eight points. (PR)
