Ceres FC match-up vs JP Voltes in PFL

AFTER an epic 1-0 victory over archrival Global Cebu FC earlier this month at Panaad Park and Stadium, Ceres Negros Football Club (FC) is looking to taint undefeated JP Voltes Marikina FC at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila.

Ceres FC with a win and a draw card is also looking forward to fortify its position in the Philippines Football League (PFL).

Stephan Schrock, who came in as substitute in the second half, is expected to be in the starting list of Ceres FC alongside Omid Nazari. Another player yet to see action is Orrel Aristorenas while Simone Rota is hopeful to finally take the pitch.

JPV, which has a 3-0 win-loss record, aims to extend its winning streak. In their last outing, JPV blanked Ilocos United FC, 2-nil behind David Basa and Kouichi Belgira and defeated Stallion Laguna FC and Davao Aguilas.

Meanwhile, after today’s match, Ceres FC will fly to Singapore for the 2017 RHB Singapore Cup.
